Laundering upholstery
We own a Dufour 325 (2007). We found a label in the forecabin upholstery covers with washing instructions and they came up a treat! However, the cream upholstery in the main cabin is different fabric and starting to look a little tired, but there are no labels inside the covers with any washing instructions. The material in the main cabin is a faux-suede. It seems to be commonly used in Dufours - either in cream or a royal blue. Can anyone share their experience of washing this kind of cover?
Upholstery cleaning
Did you ever get a reply or wash the covers? I have the same problem on a 325 we just bought. Otherwise we are going to have to get new covers done
Problem solved
The ones on the boat we recently bought were so bad and mildewed that we decided to wash them anyway. A short soaking with Clorox (1/2cup per gallon) then a run through the washing machine and they are like new. Did both the cabin seats in the faux suede and the others and they came out very well. In fact the cream cabin covers did have the laundering tabs
